Congratulations to George Bush, who actually won the popular vote this time out. If the news reports are to be believed, it was the Three Gs that swung the election for Bush: God, gays, and guns. The first two of those point to morality issues, and the outcome of the election seems to indicate that a majority of the people then believe that George Bush is essentially more moral than John Kerry. I have a hard time seeing his morality, given that Bush is responsible (so far) for the deaths of 1,100 American soldiers in Iraq and between 8,000 and 100,000 (depending on which sources you read) Iraqi civilian deaths. How can a man who single-handedly set about to start a war that caused so much loss of life be considered moral?
